OPA!!

Last night we celebrated Allisons Birthday. We went to a Greek restaurant called Bacchanal. They had a live band, a belly dancer that was awesome and we even broke plates. The belly dancer was really cool. She did a routine, then started pulling people on the dance floor with her. We all had a turn showing off our moves. The place really had a great atmosphere, good food and wine. A definite good time for a special occasion.

Valentines Day

Tommy and I both agreed that we would keep Valentines Day simple this year. I tried to think of something clever . . . and I did!! Glued a bunch of those valentines heart candies that say things on them, like "Kiss Me", "Angel" and "Sweetie" and a bunch of bananas. I told Tommy that he will think his gift from me is silly but he'll never forget it. I gave him a "Bunch of Love" for Valentines. He loved it! and I love him! XOXOX

We Met the President

So . . One of my goals in life was to meet a President, whether it be a present one or a past. I had heard on the news a few days about that Past President Jimmy Carter was doing a book signing with his new book, "Peace in the Holy Land". I wanted to go so badly. Tommy and I stood in line for a little over an hour. It was so cold out side and the line didn't seem like it was going anywhere, but as soon as the line made it inside the bookstore, it seemed to be over before we knew it. Turns out the bookstore had not anticipated the turn out of people and basicly was pushing books through a line for President Carter to sign. Unfornitly, we all were unable to shake hands or take personal pictures with him, but was still exciting to be as close as we were. He looked great as he stood up and waved hello to the crowd. It was an expericance that had me in "aww". So many different people for all different cultures. We spoak t0 the people standing in line with us and their passion for him being one of the "Great Americans of all time" seemed to be in the air.

A Night of Many Celebrations

On Saturday, January 24, Tommy and I had our Housewarming Party as well as celebrating his 26th Birthday. We had family and friends over as we all ate, drank and played Wii and Cornhold. My sister even drove from California to spend the weekend with us. It was nice to have her here, as she helped out so much that night. Some of the more memorable moments for me was watching Irene V, whom I work with, play Wii for the first time. I found out later that week that she purchased a Wii cause "it's so much fun!" My sister was pretty amused by two of Tommy's co-workers; Jason & Will. HAHA I later spoiled the joke by telling her their real names. Once I gathered everyone around in the same place, we sang Happy Birthday to Tommy. I was a little embarrassed thought because we didn't have a birthday candle so I opted for a votive. It was a nice touch :)

How old Am I???

I wanted so badly to be with my babe for my Birthday and have a nice dinner. Mission Accomplished! Tommy took me to one of my favorite Italian restaurant, Va Bene. We shared a glass of wine, had some calamari and an amazing dinner. Afterward we went to the SUNS game. I had never been to one before. I was in shock of how much the games are an event. There is constantly something going on, either in the stands or out on the court. We were able to watch the game on lounge like coaches and rocking music in the Verve Lounge. It is on the Box Level of the arena and can only get in by invite-only. Thanks Honey for a great Birthday. Am I really 27? Ugh!

New Years Eve 2009

This New Years was our second together. We decided to stay close to home with friends and family to ring in the new year. We went to my old work, Dos Gringos with Aleah, Irene, Dave, Garrett and Beth.

Being with close friends and family was nice as we all "Cheers" to the new Year. Happy New Year! I have the feeling that this is gonna be a great one!
